Workshop 2 of the Studio phase of the Integrated Spatial Planning for Amalgamated Hromadas program
Participants of the Integrated Spatial Planning for Amalgamated Hromadas program gathered again for the 5-day Workshop - the second of 5 Studio workshops running parallel in 5 joint groups in 5 LGDC-s of Ukrainian cities: Ivano-Frankivsk, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Dnipro and Kharkiv.
Workshop 2 was aimed to create the team's common vision of the future development of the AH-s according to the principles of sustainability. In elaboration process of this image of the future, alternative models of development were sketched and evaluated on their specific potentials and opportunities (in relation to identified focuses from Workshop 1).
Specific emphasis was put on studying the ways of communication with the hromadas and developing a draft of the communication model for Public Events in AH-s which will be held during the next Workshop. Participants supported by mentors have defined and elaborated the event type, participation models, venues and feedback mechanisms.
During the Workshop each working group has developed 2-3 different Spatial Development Scenarios for AH (including set of maps, Illustrations and description of parameters), set of key issues/questions on scenarios to discuss with local stakeholders, outline for participation event in AH during Workshop 3 and the Workshop diary with key facts on the elaboration process.
